Hi my RED HATTER FRIENDS, Well, we had a wonderful time at the luncheon at the Newtown Inn and some got to shop. Thank you Pam for making all the arrangements. I had to get to work and we got caught in a terrible traffic jam on the way home. Bad accident. Not us Thank Goodness. Well, now on to the fun of the month of December and that will be on Sunday, December 19th at the home of Beth Ann Morgan and Rita Weber at 376 Belden Hill Road. The party is a gift exchange of an ornament or holiday trinket between $5 and $10 no more, bringing goodies to share and having a wonderful time together. Please call Beth Ann or Rita to R.S.V.P. at least by the 17th so they have some idea of how much to prepare for. They are providing all the drinks including tea. I truly hope that you will be able to attend. Beth Ann is 762-1797 and Rita is 762-7927. Don't forget, we bring the food, be it finger sandwiches, cheese & crackers, cookies, bars, fudge, anything chocolate, and if you bring cookies or whatever you made, please bring a copy of the recipe so we can share it around. I will type it up for the website "Our Favorite Recipes" and we can start a new group called ???????. (Someone give me an idea for a name for the recipe hounds.) Just send me your favorite recipes and they will go on the website beginning with homemade goodies. Maybe each month we can have a different recipe category to put on the website and we can become famous just like Amos. This is really thinking out loud. What do you think of this idea??? I need your input. Email me, write me or call me as to your opinion. I am willing to type it up and to put it on the website. I promise you will have a good time. Wear your red hats and purple outfits and we'll take a few snap shots of how glamorous we really are. Maybe one will even hit the newspapers and will definitely be on our website. www.franklyscarlet.org This is an all ladies party. We might even play a game of poker or bridge or bingo. Who knows!! I hope everyone got this message but if you didn't you have a second chance. The times for the party are from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. I thank our gracious hostesses for volunteering to have the party at their home, Beth Ann Morgan and Rita Weber. Directions: From center of Wilton Take 33 north to the traffic light at the Wilton Congregational Church (my church), Bear left onto Belden Hill Road. Go about a mile and a half and there is a stop sign. Go straight 1/2 mile and on the left is 376 Belden Hill Road. From Route 7: From Route 7 turn onto Wolfpit Road to the stop sign and turn left and go about 1/2 mile to 376 Belden Hill Road on the left. See you on the 19th. Stay well and keep warm.
