THURSDAY VISITORS

Yesterday was a big day at The Imperium store in downtown Fullerton. First the "Red Hatters of Tustin", led by their chapterette in charge, Linda, trooped in to shop. Judging from their fabulous get-ups, they really didn't need any more red and purple stuff (but then, since when do any of us have to "need" anything to accumulate more red and purple?). Alas, Queen Barbara McBride was unable to join them yesterday. Hope you are feeling better, Barbara. While the Tustin ladies were still there, Lorna Marifjeren and her husband, Earl, arrived for a visit. Lorna's chapter is the "Recycled Beauties" in Park River, North Dakota. Judging from his positive remarks, Earl is a steadfast supporter of the RHS. We do appreciate our supportive significant others, don't we? As if these visitors weren't enough, Anne Richards and her husband, Phil walked in! Anne is Queen of the "Frankly, Scarlet, I Don't Give a Damn" chapter in Wilton, Connecticut! We had enough visitors for a mini-convention - all in one hour's time! These are the kinds of things that make Red Hatting such a special thing, don't you agree? Sue Ellen Cooper |
